I'm Taya, Owner and Online Therapist of Sound House Therapy, PLLC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor who specializes in working with individuals and couples. I am also a domestic adoptee who has been in reunion with both of my birthparents since 2006 and 2008. This life changing reunion has ignited a passion in me to support other adoptees who are trying to navigate their adoption identity. My approach is highly interactive as I seek to empower my clients to improve in all their relationships by providing a safe, supportive and collaborative environment. I use a combination of techniques based in Attachment, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral and the Gottman Method.
